PT Akebono Brake Astra Indonesia (AAIJ)
The company, a joint venture between PT Astra Otoparts Tbk and Japan’s Akebono Brake Industry, is a leading supplier of advanced braking systems and components, supplying about 70% of Indonesia’s brake components for passenger cars and motorcycles and exporting to multiple countries. In 2024 it relocated to a new plant in the KIIC industrial park in Karawang, West Java. The new facility has fully adopted Industry 4.0 technologies and is equipped with AI visual inspection, the Internet of Things (IoT), real-time production monitoring, digital inspection checklists, and intelligent energy management, aiming to become a safe, efficient, and sustainable smart manufacturing hub.

Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM)
Explore Indonesia’s key automotive hub, the world's third largest motorcycle market and one of the major car manufacturing bases in Southeast Asia. YIMM's West Java factory, located in Karawang International Industrial City (KIIC), is Yamaha’s major secondary plant.
